Case of the Missing Shorts

Last night during a walk, I looked down at Israel in the stroller and realized he was missing his shorts. I was baffled. I asked Aaron, "Where are Israel's shorts??" He had changed Israel's diaper shortly before we left for our walk, but he replied, "I don't know. I put them back on him after I changed his diaper." I didn't think there was any way they could have somehow fallen off of Israel during the walk while in the stroller, but I couldn't think why he possibly wouldn't have them on. This puzzled and preoccupied me for much of our walk.

We returned home and were just playing in the living room...and I spotted his shorts. I immediately figured out what happened, and for some reason, I could not stop laughing.

We had put him in the exersaucer for just a minute before our walk while we got out the strollers, and when I pulled him out of it, his shorts stayed in it.

It truly may be my sleep deprivation that made this SO FUNNY to me, but there you have it. The case of Israel's missing shorts: solved.
