Two years ago today, we were receiving a call from Utah that said that a baby boy was just born and that his birthmother had chosen us. We were to get on the next plane we could. We threw clothes in a suitcase, grabbed Ivy out of her bed where she was napping, and did just that.
When we arrived, we were greeted by this sweet little face. He was so tiny and perfect and adorable. We were smitten.
And we still are. Israel's fun and crazy personality, his HUGE smile, his absolute LOVE for cuddling, and his golden brown eyes make him one lovable little boy.
Here's a little glimpse of his cute little two-year-old self singing his current favorite song, "Revive Us Again." He mostly just sings "hallelujah, amen" over and over :)
