Just Me and My Girl

On Saturday, Ivy and I had our first ever "girls day."

It was SO much fun. Definitely one of my favorite days...hands down.

Here we are all ready to go.

The whole way there (about a 45 minute drive), Ivy kept asking, "Are my brothers not coming? Do my brothers have to stay home? Is Ivy the only one who gets to go? Are we going to a girls day?" It was so sweet.

We went to a few stores,

and then to Starbucks. I was hoping, since Starbucks is one of my favorite places on this earth, that Ivy would love it, too. 

She did.

We went to a few more stores,

and I let Ivy pick one thing out of the $1 aisle at Target for herself and her brothers. She picked these cute plates out...good choice! (something practical!)

We ended our day with lunch at Panera (another one of my favorite places.)

The whole way home, Ivy asked, "Was that a girls day? Are the brothers boys? Is that why they couldn't come? Are my brothers still at home? Did my brothers not get to go to Starbucks? Did my brothers not get to go to Panera?"

I had so much fun with my girl. We'll have to do it again...soon!
