He was well-celebrated

Abel is a very loved boy. As are all of our kiddos.

He had two birthday parties in the past week, both complete with cakes, presents, balloons, decorations, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins.

First we celebrated with my side of the family. We got him this cute farm cake.

He absolutely LOVED the little cake that we let him dig into. He probably would have tried to eat the whole thing if we had let him.

He had so much fun opening his presents,

and he had lots of family there to help him...

and celebrate with him.

Then tonight we celebrated with Aaron's family.

Abel's Grandma Carmen is AMAZING at making cakes. Seriously. She made him this fire truck cake! Isn't it great?

He was pretty mesmerized by the candle on his little cake...

and it literally only took him a couple minutes (or less) to gobble down his cake. That boy loves his sweets. Well...he just loves all food in general. :)

Ivy and Addi had fun decorating their own cupcakes...

and Israel and Maddox played pretty well together for about the first time! (Maybe Israel is finally growing out of the stage where he tries to tackle every kid he sees...)

Abel got to open more presents,

and he had siblings and cousins to help him again!

It was so wonderful to celebrate our son's first birthday with all his family members who love him so much!
