Last weekend, before we made the trek from Michigan to Indiana for the month, we decided to celebrate Christmas with just our "little" family a week early.
We always have appetizers for our Christmas celebration, so this year I made stuffed jalapenos, stuffed mushrooms, and crab rangoons. Here they are, ready to go in the oven:
and after they came out:
Aaron's favorite was the crab rangoons,
and my favorite was the stuffed jalapenos.
Ivy just enjoys all food...she doesn't differentiate much...
and as long as Israel is getting some sort of attention, he is happy, too!
After supper we tried to get a picture of our kids in front of our "Christmas tree" (...and again, by Christmas tree, I mean the top part of our Christmas tree) :)
and then a family picture in front of the tree. I think we cover up most of the tree, but that's ok :)
That night, since it is tradition, we slept on the floor in front of the Christmas tree. It was a little bit different doing it this year, though, since I'm pregnant. I woke up at 2:00 AM so sore I could hardly move enough to stand up and walk over to the couch to resume sleeping :) And in the morning, I had a hard time walking! But it's tradition, and it was fun, so I guess it was worth it :)
