Sibling Bliss

I am really trying to enjoy this time when Ivy and Israel absolutely adore each other. Ideally, they will always love and adore each other, but I know at some point the normal sibling rivalry and occasional annoyance will set in, at least once in awhile.

But for now, Ives and Izel LOVE each other. When I get Ivy up in the morning, Israel is usually just waking up in his bed. When Ivy spots Israel laying in his bed, she immediately reaches for him and excitedly says, "baba! baba!" (brother! brother!). So I set her down in his bed with him and they keep each other occupied and happy for the next 20 minutes or so! They are so adorable together. Israel smiles at Ivy almost constantly, and Ivy loves to interact with Israel.

Usually she first likes to pull his giraffes off of the mobile that hangs over his bed.

Then, if Israel doesn't have his pacifier in his mouth, Ivy will spend a lot of time trying to get one back in his mouth.

After she has succeeded in getting one in his mouth, she usually finds another one of his pacifiers and puts it in her own mouth.

Then she usually plops down beside him.

Or sometimes, on top of him.

It brings me so much joy to watch them interact with each other :) I'm praying that their closeness lasts throughout their entire lives.

What a couple of cuties. Ivy is a great big sister, and I'm sure Israel will be a great big brother.

Couldn't resist taking a peek at your sweet kids! When they decide to be unhappy with each other you can show them this picture and tell them that they will have to share the same bed until they can work out their differences.
