Typical Saturday Morning

I love Saturday mornings. Especially when we don't have to travel anywhere and we can just stay home and relax. This is what a typical Saturday morning looks like at our house...or, you know, our "dorm" :)


My amazing husband usually lets me sleep in while he gives Israel his first bottle. Then Ivy and I get up, and he offers to feed her, too :) They usually cuddle together on the couch for awhile after that.

Israel falls over while playing with some toys, but is still content just to lay there sideways :)

Then Ivy eats her favorite breakfast (a banana),

and I eat my new favorite breakfast,

while Israel watches both of us upside down. He is so funny :)

I lay both kids down next to each other to change their diapers and clothes...

And Ivy smothers her brother in kisses while they wait for me to get their clothes.

Both of them get dressed

and then play together for awhile. They keep each other SO occupied...it's amazing.

Then Aaron does some homework while having a "training session" with Ivy to teach her to sit quietly,

and I do some homework with Israel.

All in all, a typical Saturday morning. Just the kind I love :)
