In a way, it seems just like yesterday that we got the surprise call from an adoption agency in Utah, telling us to get on the next plane possible to come pick up a baby boy who had been born earlier that morning.

Lately, our five-month-old has been...
trying out some new looks,
sitting,
standing (I think we need to get him a more boyish toy to use to stand...),
sucking and chewing on EVERYTHING, including his hands,
getting swaddled up like a burrito to sleep (still!),
getting his various body parts pointed out by his sister ("Ivy, where is your brother's nose?"),
getting out of his bumbo chair on his own,
spending a lot of time cuddling with mama and papa while he battled the stomach flu for almost a week,
getting his hair done by his sister,
and being VERY happy 99% of the time!
