(Rachel, Ally, Johanna, me)
Johanna and her husband Frieddy are students here at NTBI, and they are from Germany. They are pregnant with their first baby--a little boy! It's been so much fun to be pregnant at the same time as Johanna, and it's even better that we're both having boys! (she is two months behind me, by the way...hence my much bigger belly) :)
We had a lot of fun getting ready for the shower...
...I made lots of chocolate-dipped goodies,
and I had two very willing helpers!
(and don't worry...those pictures were taken after we were done dipping them all. They weren't sampling everything while we were making them!)
Ivy crawled around on the floor and ate all of the sprinkles that fell off the table while we were working :)
Rachel and I also made a diaper cake (and Ally made the cute banner on top),
we all helped with the food,
and Ally did SUCH an awesome job with the rest of the decorations!
She tried to incorporate a lot of German phrases into the little "signs" and banners all over the house.
She also painted this beautiful tree. Everyone who came to the shower wrote a prayer for the baby in one of the leaves. Johanna is going to hang it above the the baby's bed!
We had an awesome turnout,
and I think Johanna had a good time!

I definitely did have a good time! Thank you so much Jill for making this baby shower so special and for all the hours that you put in the preparations! You, Rachel and Ally did such a good job and I am so grateful to have you as friends!!!!!
Your food made my tummy growl! :) And that tree...what an awesome idea and a fabulous painting! I love it.
