Thanksgiving Weekend

We went back to our hometown in Indiana for our Thanksgiving weekend, and it was a wonderful time of getting together with family and enjoying TONS of food. And lots of fellowship, too.

We stayed at my parents' house, where my mom is recovering from her third surgery in the past three months. That sounds terrible to me, but I haven't heard her complain once! She has such a good attitude!

So Ivy planted herself on the couch next to my mom for a good part of the weekend, where she had countless books read to her.

Ivy loved it. It was just her style :) She loves cuddling up next to someone on the couch and reading books. So it worked out well.

Israel had fun playing with all of the Christmas decorations my parents have up already,

and we all got to catch up with extended family members we don't see too often.

We also spent a day with Aaron's family, vistited some friends, and went to our home church on Sunday. It was a full weekend!

We're back in classes now for the next three weeks, and then we'll be heading back "home" for almost a month over Christmas. Looking forward to it!!

For some reason, the house is alot quieter than it was this weekend. It was alot of fun.

Even though I spent the weekend on the couch, I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend! And I loved reading the books and spending time with all of the kids. It was a great weekend! I loved it!
