Two Songs and a Message

There is no doubt that Ivy loves her Uncle Jordan

The other day, I walked into our living room, and Jordan was cradling Ivy and singing "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music to her. She just laid contentedly and stared at him the entire time. I grabbed my camera just as the song was ending and asked Jordan if he would sing it again. He gladly did, and then went into his rendition of "Edelweiss", also from The Sound of Music.

Jordan then said he had a message for Ivy, and he would like me to tape it. So here is Jordan's message for Ivy--he gets interrupted a few times by Ivy's loud, excited noises and my cell phone ringing, but he never loses his train of thought :)

Jordan, you're the best!

Looks like Ivy really enjoyed it. If I would try and sing to her, she would probably start crying (as you know, I'm not musically inclined).

Ivy sure likes to spend time with Jordan. He did a great job of singing and I loved his message about how he feels about Ivy:) Looks like Ivy has a GREAT connection with Jordan also. Jill once again, well done on the blog!!
