Ives and Izel

A lot of people ask us how Ivy is doing with the adjustment of having a sibling. The answer is, she is really doing great with it. I think she was young enough that she isn't quite yet to the "jealous stage"--she doesn't really seem to care if I am holding Israel instead of her. I think she thinks Israel is just another one of her toys :) A really fun one that moves around and makes sounds when she pats him, pulls on him, and occasionally sits or lays on him :) Here are some of the ways she interacts with him the most:

She sometimes just stares at him.

She likes to lay down beside him...or on top of him.

She likes to try to give him things...toys, shoes, socks, books, his pacifier, etc.

She also likes to give him kisses (sort of) and pats. I think this is probably his least favorite :)

And then the one she has been doing lately...she likes to bury her face into him :)

It is so much fun having two kids! We couldn't be more thankful for both of them!
