18, 9, 0

18 months.

9 months.

Newborn.

Those will be the ages of our three children (Lord willing) next May.

That's right, I'm...

After three years of not being able to get pregnant (which we attribute 100% to the sovereign will of God) and after these two little blessings were adopted into our family,

I'm pregnant :)

And I'm fairly certain I'm not mistaken about this, because, you know, I only took about six pregnancy tests or so in the first few weeks,

just to make sure :)

We are praising God and could not be MORE excited!!

I do have to say though, when I had my first ultrasound at 10 weeks, I was a little bit relieved to only see one baby instead of twins, like Aaron was hoping for.

Three babies under one and a half? It sounds doable by God's grace :)
Four babies under one and a half? Not sure I could handle that :)

My favorite part of this whole thing has been seeing God's perfect timing in our lives. If we had gotten pregnant three years ago, we probably wouldn't have even considered adoption, and we wouldn't have these two amazing babies.

And I can't imagine not being their mommy.

I love the fact that I most likely got pregnant about a week or two after we adopted Israel. It is as if God literally prevented me from getting pregnant until He had placed these two children in our home.

We had so much fun telling our family and friends over the past few weeks about about our good news. To tell everyone, I either wore the "Due in May" shirt in the picture up above, or we had Israel wear this homemade "Big Brother" shirt.

For some odd reason, they don't sell "Big Brother" shirts in 0-3 month size :)

So today, we are praising Him for the great things He has done!

To Him be the glory.

I'm crying as I type this comment! SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! The first thing out of Jason's mouth when he walked in the door from church this morning was "The McCormick's were there...and...they're having another baby!" I said "REALLY?! Where is this one coming from?" He said "From God!" And I said "Well, yes, of course but I mean where...geographically??" And he said "Naturally!" NO WAY!!! Watching your lives and the way God is so faithful, the way His timing is so perfect, the way He is working all things for your good...it's encouraging and inspiring and I'm so thankful you're open and willing to share these things!! CONGRATS!!!!!!

We are so thrilled for your sweet family! God's timing is greater than ours and I love that you are now seeing what earlier you couldn't understand!!! We're especially excited to be doing this literally right along side! The next picture of our girls together will have not only Israel but two big bellies :) Can't wait to see you and hug you!
