This past weekend, my parents came up to Jackson to celebrate Ivy's 1st birthday! So we had a small party for her...and we will be having another one next weekend with Aaron's family!
Here's the birthday girl, all ready for her party to start.
We had a delicious supper...
and then it was time for Ivy to open presents!
She loved ripping into the paper!
She got a lot of fun stuff, like a Little People book,
a farm puzzle,
a Little People car,
a duck that Kaine and Halle picked out that Ivy absolutely LOVES,
cute hair barrettes,
and an adorable riding toy
that was a hit with everyone!
I can tell she is going to get hours of enjoyment out of it!
Her cousins watched patiently as she SLOWLY ripped every present open :)
Then it was time for cake. I'm not much of a cake baker, so I decided to do something pretty easy that would be hard to mess up. So I made ice cream cone cupcakes!
She dug right into hers...
and enjoyed every minute of it!

It was a great weekend. Glad we could be there for Ivy and her 1st birthday. Before you know it it will be Israel's 1st.
