Our little 4 1/2 month old Israel had quite a bit of hair when he was born, and most of it has grown a lot in the last couple of months.
However, because some of it has fallen out in the back (because of how he lays), he has been developing a nice soon-to-be mullet. See the strip of hair along the bottom of his head that is longer than the hair above it?
It is actually a LOT longer than the hair above it...a couple inches longer (though you can't really tell that since it is so curly).
Aaron and I both agreed that we needed to cut his hair. It felt strange cutting the hair of such a little baby, and it did make me sad to see the pile of beautiful curls after I was done, but we were very happy with the results!

He doesn't look completely sure about his new look, but I think it will grow on him. No pun intended. :)
