Much Needed Getaway

Last week Aaron and I went away for a couple days while my parents kept our two kiddos. We had SUCH a fun time!

Aaron made sure to bring a full pot of coffee along for the road,

 and we got a hotel on Priceline.com for only $40 per night! It turned out to be a REALLY nice hotel with a kitchen bigger than our apartment's,

 a fireplace,

 and a free hot breakfast in the morning!

I would most definitely recommend the hotel to anyone (Residence Inn by Marriott).

We ate four meals out, and we were able to pay for all of them with gift cards!!! (Thanks Mom and Dad M., Mom and Dad S., Grandma S., and Tony and Manjit!)

We went to Applebees,

 Biaggi's,

Panera,

  and our favorite, Cork and Cleaver.

 We also went to see Courageous at the movie theater and made sure we had lots of candy for it...

 and we ended up being the ONLY ONES in the theater! (I guess that's a Wednesday evening at the dollar theater for you!) It was very odd and sort of creepy to be the only ones in there, but the movie was SO incredibly good. We both loved it.

It was such a fun and much-needed couple of days with just the two of us :) Thanks, Mom and Dad, for making it possible!
