Saturday night we went to our good friends Kole and Amy's house for our annual Christmas party with our friends. We had an assortment of appetizers to eat, a grab gift exchange, and lots of fellowship! And everyone could come!

Then on Sunday, we celebrated Christmas with my immediate family. It's always an all-day affair, and we have so much fun!
We always play some homemade games,
open some great presents,
and take an annual family photo.
We also always do a "funny-face" photo. Our three kids didn't get the concept, but all four of Nathan and Rachel's did!
The kitchen that Nathan and Rachel's kids got was a hit with everyone!
Ivy and Israel also got a new kitchen from their Grandpa Mike and Grandma Carmen last week, and I know they will have so much fun with it!
Kaine was so funny. He wrapped up some "gag gifts" for us. Aaron was the recipient of a headless little doll,
And of course, we had to wrap up something for my dad that included smashed blackberries, to commemorate the Christmas that he accidentally smashed a blackberry into the carpet, but then adamantly refused that it was him. Nathan, Rachel, Aaron, and I have been giving him "smashed blackberry" gifts for the past six or seven years since then. :)
And a rare picture of Aaron and me :) I am always taking pictures of our kids now, and we hardly ever take pictures of us two anymore! This was our seventh Christmas as a married couple.
We were very thankful for all of the opportunities we had to celebrate Christ's birth with our family and friends this year!
