The Past Few Weeks...

Our kids have had it pretty nice the past few weeks. We have been living at my parents' house while we're on break from New Tribes Bible Institute, and Ivy, Israel, and Abel have had pretty much undivided attention from their Grandpa and Grandma the entire time. They are definitely going to go through some kind of withdrawal when we head back to Michigan later today.

So what have we been up to the past few weeks? Well, the kids have been:

Throwing lots and lots and lots of balls,

dipping pretzels,

playing with Grandpa's train,

being a super-hero,

wrestling,

"reading" books,

wearing new pajamas from Grandpa and Grandma,

going down the slide innumerable times,

cutting out lots of cookies,

frosting lots of cookies,

spending some good quality time with Uncle Jordan (remember him?),

playing in their tent,

trying their hand at Donkey Kong for the first time,

making baskets,

making necklaces,

and of course, playing with babies.

So that's basically what the kids have been doing the past few weeks. Aaron and I have had some great opportunities to speak at a church prayer meeting, get together with many friends and family members, and talk to numerous people about what we are doing in our training for tribal missions. Aaron also worked for a few weeks, met with our pastors to update them on what we are doing, taught Sunday school, and learned the art of making tamales from his mom. They are DELICIOUS!

It has been such a good break, but we are also very excited to head home to Michigan today!

Glad it was a good break - and glad that you're happy to go 'home'. :)

I hope we didn't spoil them too much, but it's hard not to. They were alot of fun, and a little tiring. Got to give you guys alot of credit on how you are raising them.
