It's Baseball Season

A few months ago, Aaron taught Israel how to drop-kick a football, and Israel is a pro at it. He throws the football up and kicks it with all his might. He is almost always spot-on, too. Hardly ever misses. And he has surprisingly accurate aim as well. (i.e. if he wants to hit, say, Abel with it, he has no problem doing so...)

Yesterday, Aaron got his baseball and baseball glove out of the attic. Israel has never played with a real baseball before. He picked it up this morning in our living room, looked it over for a second, and before I could tell him not to, he threw the baseball up in the air and then kicked it with all his might....with a bare foot. The ball went sailing across the room and hit the wall. Israel looked up at me, stunned for a couple seconds. Then he said, "OOOOOWWWWWW! That ball hurts my toes!"

Then he laughed.

And then he went and picked up the ball and did it again.

Oh, Israel.

I definitely laughed out loud on this:) And I agree that he is amazing at kicking a football.

Can't wait to watch him in action. I'm not surprised at all that he can do this. He is one coordinated kid.

lol...this is hilarious!! What a little athlete!

I would LOVE to see a video of that football drop-kick.

Looks like Kaine is going to have a playmate after all!
