August is 1/4 of the way to a year old. Already. Crazy. He's changed so much in the past three months! He's definitely gotten plumper. :) (He's wearing the same onesie in the one-month picture and the three-month picture...look how much tighter it is on him now!)
One Month Old
Two Months Old
Three Months Old
August at three months
Weight: 13.5 lb
Likes: Being talked to, being held, watching his siblings, sucking on his hands, watching and batting at toys
Dislikes: Baths, having his clothes changed, not getting attention
Eating: He eats five times a day (6 oz. per feeding). He's a champion eater...only takes 10 or 15 minutes.
Sleeping: Sleeps 11 hours at night and takes four naps per day. (We're just about ready to drop it down to three naps.) Still likes to be swaddled when he sleeps. He is our first child not to use a pacifier when he sleeps.
Miscellaneous: Holds his head up well during tummy time, likes to sit in the bumbo (for a few minutes at a time), smiles VERY easily, laughs when he's tickled under his arms, goes to class with Aaron and me every day, just grew out of size 1 diapers, and starting to grow out of 3 month clothes.
We all love our little August Lane! He is such a joy and blessing to our family.

I love his belly in the three month shot!
Can you explain, in detail, the schedule you use to get him to sleep 11 hours at night??!!
August has a delightful smile. Really, I think he looks so much like Abel. =) I love how God has grown your precious family. And how he has blessed these dear children with loving parents. Know God will be your strength as you continue to train them up for Him.
You are so blessed to have such good kids. I can't imagine sleeping 11 hours at 3 months. Hope to see you guys soon. Love GGMA

I love having 3 kids so close in age :) Olson weighs 15 1/2 lbs, wears 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers! AND he has only given us a 9 hour stretch...can't wait for that to get a little bit longer :) Love reading these updates and can't wait for our newest boys to meet in person!
To whoever wrote the third comment...not sure if you are actually interested in the details or not, but you can read this post to see how we schedule our babies' eating and sleeping patterns:
http://hut-sweet-hut.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-babies-and-babywise.html
The keys are: establishing an eat/wake/sleep schedule during the days and and eat/sleep schedule at night to help them understand the difference between night and day, feeding them at the same times every day, and putting them down/waking them up at the same times every day for nighttime and nap time. Feel free to leave another comment if you really do have specific questions! Or look me up on FB.
thanks!!!
