Last lunch date...for awhile, anyway

Every since Ivy was a newborn, she and I have spent one or two days every week with Jordan. His joyful countenance, listening ear, and sweet personality have added so much to our lives over the past year. He has taught me much about friendship and love. He also tried to teach me the waltz...but I just couldn't get it...so he gave up :)


Jordan, Ivy, and I went on one more "lunch date" earlier today before we move in two days.

Although, as I keep reminding Jordan, we will hopefully have many more lunch dates and days together the next couple of summers, since we will most likely be living back in Bluffton for the summers. 


And Jordan and I have a plan to talk on the phone with each other at least once a week, so that we can keep up on each other's lives.


I let Jordan pick where we went, so he picked his favorite--Pizza Hut.

 

It was so cute...through our whole lunch, Ivy kept trying to hold Jordan's hand :)

 

Jordan wanted to give Ivy a message...not a "goodbye" message, since we will be back frequently...but more like a "see you later" message.

We love you, Jordan! I'll call you Saturday for our first phone update :)
