This weekend, our very good friends Brandon and Amber made the 2 1/2 hour trip up to New Tribes Bible Institute to visit us
and meet the newest member of our family!
It was so much fun to be able to spend time with them! We have only been gone for a month, but it seems like it's been longer. It was a blessing to have them here! Since Aaron and Brandon used to carpool together every day for work, they had a lot to catch up on :)
We took them to the old-fashioned ice cream place in Jackson called The Parlour that Cory and Shelly introduced us to a few months ago,
and we had really huge delicious sundaes!
While we were there, a guy ordered a 23-scoop sundae in the booth behind us....and then he proposed to his girlfriend! It was really sweet, and she was SO happy. Aaron tried to get a picture of them and the sundae:
We also showed them around New Tribes Bible Institute, got Jimmy Johns for lunch, and Outback for supper...we were pretty full by the end of the day :)
My parents also came up this weekend for a few days!
My dad hadn't met Israel yet, and they spent a lot of time with all 6 grandkids. It was so great to have them here all weekend, and they were a huge help to us, as usual!

You didn't tell me about the huge sundae. First your sneeking cookies, now your sneeking sundaes. I just don't know what to think.
Anyway, it was a great weekend, despite the van trouble.
