Ivy is 20 months old now, and she is getting to be such a little girl...not a baby at all anymore. She talks all the time. And here is proof that kids pick up phrases and words from adults so easily...anyone who knows Aaron at all has most likely heard him say, "Oh, snap." He says it a lot. Well for the past couple weeks, Ivy has been walking around constantly saying, "Oh, snap! Oh, snap! Oh, snap!" Except when she says it, it sounds more like, "No nap! No nap! No nap!" Ha. It's adorable. :)
I am so glad that she is our oldest child, because I know that she is going to be SUCH a help to me with her little siblings. She already loves to pretend she is a "mama" to her babies. In this video, she is rocking her baby to sleep and singing her a song. (And that's Israel yelling in the background.)
Ivy also likes to try to help with Abel already. Many times when I'm going to change his diaper, she will say, "Ivy do!" Then she attempts to change his diaper for a minute or so before giving up and letting me do it. But I love that she wants to help so much!
Israel is almost 11 months, and man does that kid have energy. He is constantly moving. NEVER sitting still. He makes my life exciting :) I love the little trampoline that Klint and Sarah left here at their house, because it helps him burn off some of his energy! He jumps on it multiple times each day!
He is also just starting to say words! He says mama, papa, all done, hi, bye bye, and uh-oh. In this video he says, "All done" and "Bye bye."
And our sweet little Abel is six weeks old. This video really is slightly boring...but it is just Abel doing what he does best: just hanging out and being the absolute sweetest baby ever. He is just so good and content and...well, sweet!
We are so thankful for our three wonderfully unique children!
