Last night, Aaron and I were watching a Christmas movie with our kids.
I turned to him and said, "Do you realize that this is the first Christmas in the past four years that we will have the same number of kids as the last Christmas? We had zero kids, then one kid, then two kids, and then three kids the last four Christmases."
Aaron said something like, "Oh, yeah...that's crazy!"
"Yeah..." I said, "It's kind of nice to keep the same number two years in a row for once."
Ha!
About ten minutes later, my phone rang.
It was our adoption agency.
A birth mom chose us.
She is due in three days.
Yes...three days.
Looks like we're going to keep up the trend again this year!
We are so thrilled and praising God for His always-perfect timing and His ways that are higher than our ways. We can't believe how blessed we are.

What a ride. At least you will be relatively close this time (and we don't have to scramble to get airline tickets). Of course, God has it all planned out for us.
