Thanks, Abel. Really.

Abel is starting to LOVE books (just like his brother and sister!). This makes me so happy. I love to read, and I want my kids to love to read. And I love reading to them!

He is also starting to talk a lot. So when we read books and he looks at the pictures, he constantly points to every character and names it/him/her. So while I'm reading the words, he is saying, "Cow! Sheep! Horse! Girl! Boy! Panda! Fox! Owl! Chicken! Llama! Tree! Goat! Sun!"

But for some reason, EVERY TIME we get to this particular page in one particular book, he points to the character and gleefully says, "Mama!!" Then he looks at me, looks back at the picture and says, "Mama!" again. Apparently the character has an uncanny resemblance to me.

Here's the picture.

Yep. That's right. Abel thinks Mr. Slow Feet is me. Thanks for the self-esteem booster, Abel.

(I can't really be upset at him, though, with that smile!) :)

I love that! So cute :) Sully likes to 'read' books too and if he's reading alone, the books are upside down about 99% of the time...why is that?!
